Magnificent magnolia!

Magnolia stellata, the star magnlolia, is one of the earliest to flower, producing a profusion of gently fragranced, pure white flowers on bare twigs in March / April. It prefers neutral to acidic soil, but may tolerate a moist alkaline soil. Grow in a sheltered position to protect the flowers from early frosts, or they’ll chill and turn brown.
