Miscanthus sinensis 'Silberfeder'Many of the ornamental grasses work hard for their place in your garden. This Miscanthus sinensis ‘Silberfeder’ forms a lovely green spray of strappy leaves in the spring, followed by plumes of pink-oaty flower panicles, up to 2.5m high in late summer. The grass dies back in the winter (it will return in warmer times!), leaving it’s dead-but-beautiful, faded stems wafting in the crisp, cold air. Cut the whole lot back to a foot above the ground in February to make way of the emergence of new growth…
